Privacy Policy – NSDL PAN Services

NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Ltd (NEIL) is committed to protecting your personal information as per IT Act 2000 and SPDI Rules 2011.

1. Information We Collect

For PAN application: Name, Date of Birth, Address, Photograph, Signature, Aadhaar/Voter ID, and payment details (processed via Paytm gateway – we do not store card/UPI credentials).

2. Use of Information

Data is shared only with Income Tax Department for PAN issuance. Payment data is handled by Paytm (PCI-DSS compliant). No third-party marketing.

3. Data Security

All data encrypted (TLS 1.2+). Stored in ISO 27001 certified servers. Access restricted to authorised NSDL personnel.

4. Retention Period

PAN application data retained for 10 years as per Income Tax Act. You may request deletion by writing to privacy@nsdl.co.in.
